About me
The story of Todua Design is really one about me, Oksana Todua, so let me briefly tell you about myself.
Originally from Ukraine, since 2022 I live and work in Copenhagen, Denmark, a country well renowned for its strong design culture, which has brought me both inspiration and ideas.
My creative journey began after the birth of my daughter. Since then, she has been my main source of inspiration, often giving me ideas that I adapt and bring to life in my work.
Today, you see not only a dedicated lawyer, but also a creative soul who finds joy in creating, feeling, and expressing herself through art and decor!
My design philosophy
I design original macramé pieces for cozy and harmonious interiors. Each piece is handmade using high-quality natural materials, as well as recycled materials—found, gifted, or provided by you—giving them a second life. It could be a child’s hat or part of an old, favourite dress, transformed into a new creation, making each piece truly unique.
Working with recycled materials allows me to combine creativity, aesthetics, and care for the world. It may not be perfect, but that is exactly what gives it its beauty and value. Each object carries a story, becomes part of the interior, and adds life and character to the space.
I handcraft each piece with attention to shape, details, and harmony with the interior. My goal is for macramé to look light, stylish, and naturally blend into any space.
My work is for those who appreciate individuality, handmade artistry, and the beauty of simple, meaningful things.
